Kellanova is Hiring a Remote Area Sales Manager

Kellanova is seeking an Area Sales Manager in Nashville, TN. You will be leading a high performing and collaborative team. Through your direction, leadership, and strategic planning you will assist your team in driving overall sales to deliver budget targets for your Area Team. The ideal candidate will reside Nashville, TN or we will consider Louisville, KY. This position covers the geography of Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Louisville, Lexington, and Western West Virginia.
The role will be remote-based; however, will travel 60% to visit their team. You will be eligible to choose one of our Fleet Program options:
Company Car Program: Ford Escape/Chevrolet Equinox along with insurance and a gas card
Auto Vehicle Reimbursement: allows you to choose what you drive and be reimbursed for business use of your own vehicle
You will receive a $65 monthly stipend for cell phone usage
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Selling, negotiating, and executing business plans – This position will partner with key decision makers. Leveraging business intelligence data, you will create a selling story to drive the business for your customers and Kellanova.
Drive Results – You will be responsible for delivering on key metrics such as POS (Point of Sale) budget, call coverage, and maintaining “perfect shelf” strategy … just to name a few.
Patience Persistence = Profit – It’s time to put your can-do attitude and diverse experience to the test. You ’ ll be a champion for Kellanova by implementing creative ideas and innovative solutions to overcome roadblocks, selling within the grocery landscape.
Nimble Learning – We will invest in you. Owning your career by completing ongoing developmental training throughout the year.
Your Recipe for Success
Significant Sales Experience combined with people management experience
Account Management Experience (i.e., Headquarters, District, Region, or Market level)
Strong understanding of analytics and ability to use multiple sources to build a selling story (i.e., Account Data, Scan Data, POS Data etc.)
Experience communicating complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, both in writing and verbally
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to drive to multiple locations
High school diploma or equivalent
